Talented groups from the local schools performed holiday shows at St. Johnland Nursing Center in December.  Orchestras, bands and choirs from Kings Park High School and Middle School led by Jon Nowack all brought a healthy dose of cheer to the 250 residents!  The St. Johnland Resident Choir performed a special holiday concert for their peers and families.  Practicing for many months, the group’s hard work was appreciated by the audience.

The Catholic Daughters of St. Joseph’s Parish brought their moving tea party to St. Johnland along with a tempting array of baked treats.  Thank you ladies!

The patients on the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit were the lucky recipients of some tabletop trees decorated by local elementary school students as part of a contest sponsored by Dr. Inna Gellerman of Huntington.

Santa arrived from the North Pole before Christmas for a visit to both the Nursing Center and the Adult Day Care Program.  And the holidays wouldn’t be complete without an Ugly Sweater Day for the staff!
