St. Johnland Nursing Care Center has joined forces with Atlanta-based Morrison Senior Living to bring wholesome, nutritious, and flavorful meals to its 250 residents. Morrison, which has been at the forefront of the industry, will focus on wellness with freshly prepared, seasonal foods. “We’re very pleased to have Morrison as our food service partner”, said St. Johnland CEO/Administrator Mary Jean Weber. “Not only does Morrison align with our values, but they will bring their passion for creating foods that are alive with flavor and nutrition, provide clinical expertise, and offer experienced leadership and resources to create customized solutions.”
More than 6000 meals are prepared and served during the course of a week. The Morrison team includes a Director of Dining Service, Executive Chef, Clinical Nutrition Manager, Registered Dietitians and Resident Service Managers who meet the needs of every resident. The clinical team provides comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to enhance each resident’s quality of life.
“This new partnership with Morrison will allow us to deliver an enhanced dining experience to better serve our residents and their families”, continued Mrs. Weber.
